DataPhysics Instruments was founded in 1997 in Filderstadt near Stuttgart in the South of Germany.
Our core competence is the application of the latest measurement techniques for surface and interfacial science, inlcuding development, manufacturing and worldwide sales of laboratory and process instruments.
We prefer to share and exchange knowledge in collaboration with customers from industry and science. Our products are innovative and individual with regard to each application and customer.
Our own application centre for surface science that offers individual training, contract measurements and excellent after-sales application support.
Spinning drop video tensiometer SVT 20N
The Spinning drop video tensiometer SVT 20N is a compact optical measuring instrument for the determination of low to ultra-low interfacial tensions and rheological interface properties. “Ultra-low” interfacial tensions occur particularly in microemulsions which are used, for example, in enhanced oil recovery.
MultiScan MS 20
The MultiScan MS 20 is the measuring device for the automatic optical stability and aging analysis of a variety of multi-phase dispersions, in particular suspensions and emulsions, and the comprehensive characterization of time- and temperature-dependent destabilization mechanisms. Due to its modular design the MS 20 can be operated with up to six scan towers ST. The scan towers are independently controllable, which allows to perform several measurements simultaneously.
Dynamic contact angle measuring instrument and tensiometer DCAT 25
The dynamic contact angle measuring instrument and tensiometer DCAT 25 is the multifunctional instrument for the weight-based measurement of contact angle, surface and interfacial tension, critical micelle formation concentration, density, sedimentation, penetration, adhesive force and surface pressure.
According to our mission “understanding interfaces”, DataPhysics Instruments GmbH has started 20 years ago to tackle its task to help researchers in science and industry around the globe in order to understand interfaces better.
With a lot of commitment, enthusiasm and creativity the small team of initially seven visionaries started to develop highly beneficial, trendsetting measuring devices, working in close cooperation with those investing in the technology.
Today, our team comprises more than 30 scientists and ingenieers using his/her individual skills, creativity and know-how to the fullest.
